This designation recognizes FuseForward as an AWS Partner that helps customers and the partner community build and deploy innovative Smart City solutions.
Achieving the AWS Smart City Competency distinction in the Service: Urban Data Platforms and Insights category differentiates FuseForward as a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) that has demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success supporting city governments and city developers who are witnessing an unprecedented rate of urban growth. FuseForward is equipped to handle challenges for helping customers accelerate and optimize city reforms and improve quality of life for citizens. As cities grow, they will require technology solutions that improve urban spatial planning, urban and peri-urban infrastructure, and city governance to develop spaces that have the ability to scale to meet urban growth.
With FuseForward’s prebuilt Urban Data Platform and over 25 years of experience working with cities and university campus customers, FuseForward helps undercover insights from the large volume of data being generated from enterprise systems and real-time control systems by leveraging advanced visualization technologies including digital twins and spatial modeling.
For example, FuseForward and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) designed a digital twin of the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex. The digital twin serves as a 3D visual representation of structured data from the building. The data coming from the digital twin is allowing the university to stop being reactive, enabling proactive decisions through data visualizations that help predict building behavior and run the buildings more efficiently.
