FuseForward is excited to announce the official opening of our new Johannesburg office location, held this past Monday, October 1. With business headquarters located in Vancouver, Canada, the opening of this new office location marks FuseForward’s entry into the African market.
Cathy Pickering, Solution Architect and founding South African employee, was excited to take part in the official launch activities. An active member of the South African tech community, Cathy is enthusiastic about the benefits FuseForward’s products and services will bring to companies planning on offering cloud services within the region.
“South Africa has long been a technological hub for Africa,” says Cathy. “As major public cloud providers launch services here in the near future, there will be better opportunities for South-African based businesses to move and operate workloads in the cloud.”

FuseForward’s South African office will provide working hours support for our customers in Europe, along with resources to support new customers in the African region. The team in South Africa is expected to grow over the coming year, with marketing and sales activities to commence in the coming months.
The South African office is currently open to assist customer’s in the region that are looking to move and operate applications on the cloud. The team are also welcoming industry or academic research partners interested in becoming part of our Intelligent Systems Research Network, a team of professionals with an interest in the application of big data to university campuses and building portfolios.
